There was a mixed bag of sunshine and rain this weekend for the Western Australian State Track and Field Championship’s held in Perth. With competing athletes from all over the state and some international athletes from Singapore all giving their best and for some their last chance to qualify for the Australian National Event held in Adelaide (April 2024).
The seven athletes from Local Athletics Club who competed in 25 events covering Hurdles, Javelin, Discus, Triple Jump and various running events walked away with 12 WA State medals: 6 Gold, 5 Silver and 1 Bronze.
